The Balding cheek is designed to provide consistent rein aids on the poll, promoting control and encouraging lift. It is especially effective against leaning or snatching. Regardless of rein tension, the mouthpiece remains aligned to the mouth, thanks to its flattened underside and anatomically-inspired recesses. This innovative design is perfect for horses with over-active, busy mouths that tend to chomp and chew on the bit. The Turtle Top with Flex keeps the mouthpiece centered and arched over the tongue, preventing sideways tongue evasions. This comfortable mouthpiece helps to refocus an inattentive mouth back onto the rein aids, resulting in a soft and consistent contact. The loose ring design reduces the chances of the horse gaining purchase on the bit and discourages leaning. With two rein options, the rider can differentiate between snaffle and poll action, making it a popular choice for strong horses in need of extra control.

Orders placed before 12 Noon are despatched the same day for in-stock items when paid by MasterCard, Visa, Delta Laser or Switch. Standard service 3 - 5 working days. Orders placed and paid by cheque will be delayed by six working days.
Most orders are despatched in 24 hours, however, at peak times or when stock is limited delays may occur. At such times, please allow 28 days for delivery . You will be advised of any expected delays at the time of ordering.
It is important that a signatory is available to sign for the consignment at the advised delivery address only. Courier companies may make additional charges for second attempt deliveries or may require the addressee to collect from their local depot. If a signatory is not available at your usual address please consider an alternative delivery address where a representative for yourself is available to sign, or designate your workplace as your preferred delivery location. Please note parcels that are returned to Holmestead Saddlery where a signature could not be obtained, and have not been collected from the courier's depot within seven days, will be subject to a £15.00 couriers charge.
